Safety, Health & Environmental Policy

Zoe Electrical Installations (Pvt) Ltd is committed to provide, maintain and improve a safe and healthy working environment for employment for employees and the public at large from injury or risk associated with its business. The company’s view is that the fulfilling of its legal responsibilities represents the minimum level of achievement with regards to safety and health at work. To this end our objectives are:

  • To ensure total compliance to relevant statutory requirements and codes of practice
  • To achieve the highest practicable level of health and safety in all operations which our company is involved in.

The achievement of these objectives is the direct responsibility of all managers and/supervisors.
To achieve these objectives:

  • Safety and health committees comprising of management, supervisors and workers shall be appointed at our work locations.
  • Appropriate safety and health training shall be of paramount importance in all our operations.

Management recognizes that safety and health is of paramount importance hence, in areas of conflict safety and health shall take precedence in all operations.
The company also recognizes that the cooperation of employees is also important in the achievement of our objectives. Employees shall:

  • Observe all safety and health provisions embodied in statutory regulations
  • Do nothing likely to cause injury to themselves or others.
  • Attend health and safety training deemed necessary by management.

The cooperation of management and employees in achievement if these objectives are of paramount importance and any deviation from the policy requirement shall be deemed as any offence under the company’s code of conduct.

If someone is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, they should stay away from electrical installations as they not only endanger their lives, but those of others around them not to mention loss of valuable euipment.
